Royal Preston Hospital
PrestonChallenged to create a new 2 storey MRI scanner room for Royal Preston Hospital along with some other smaller rooms using our lightweight steel structures seemed easy enough but having to factor in the tight site access, the live hospital, and the urgency in which we needed to turn around the design – required us to be innovative in the way in which we factored in the installation of these buildings.
Using industry leading CAD software our Designers worked with Structural Engineers Partingtons of Chorley to create 3D views of each of the buildings to enable all relevant info to be extracted for manufacturing purposes and also to aide the installation teams on site.
Installation was successfully carried out by JB Roofing of Preston who have been installing Dibsa Structures for many years.
