Low Cross Court
WakefieldRegular customer William Coopers of Barnsley approached us seeking help in providing a solution for the roofing element of Low Cross Court in Wakefield.
Here we were faced with a concrete flat roof with high walls and plant on the roof, on top of which they wanted to create two independent mono pitched roofs.
We considered a number of different approaches but came to rest on a simple design which was in basic terms our lightweight steel site assembled, site adjustable dead load system …… on ‘stilts’.
As you can see from the photographs our design proved a striking improvement on the original flat roofed building.
